Evergreen Museum

When we were in the US on vacation, we took a trip to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. It is the home of the famous Spruce Goose, built by Howard Hughes. It is a great museum with a separate building for space history and aviation history, an IMAX theater, a wonderful snackbar/cafe, and even its own vineyard with wine tastings held under the wings of the Spruce Goose. When we move to Oregon, we will definitely become members. (And when Bill is old and retired, he can volunteer and tell visitors all about airplanes they don't care about!) We had the museum mostly to ourselves so we were free to run around and enjoy it. We also had the special treat of Army helicopters visiting the museum for the day. It was a very thrilling outing...can't wait to go again! Enjoy the video of our recent visit (sorry if it's kind of long...we had fun!).
